Abstract

Ovim se radom nastoji usporediti i sistematično analizirati korejski film Oldboy i njegov američki remake. U radu ćemo se prije svega osvrnuti na pitanje filmskog remakea, nakon čega ćemo predstaviti originalan materijal koji je služio kao predložak za stvaranje kultnog korejskog filma. Predstaviti ćemo oba redatelja kao i njihove filozofije te se podrobnije baviti detaljnom komparativnom analizom originalnog filma i njegovog remakea.

Abstract (english)

This paper seeks to compare and systematically analyze the Korean film Oldboy and its American remake. We will first address the issue of a film remake, after which we will present the original material that served as a template for the creation of the cult Korean film. We will present both directors as well as their philosophies and deal in detail with a comparative analysis of the original film and its remake.
